Strategy Simple LLC, operating the modus6 brand ("modus6," "we," "us," or "our"), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit modus6.com, submit a form, request a resource, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with our business.
This Policy also describes, at a high level, how identity-resolution pixel services may operate when Strategy Simple LLC provides or deploys those services for a client. When we process personal information solely on behalf of a client, the client generally determines the purposes and means of processing, the client's privacy notice may also apply, and our processing is governed by the applicable agreement.
Please do not submit highly sensitive personal information, confidential client data, protected health information, financial account credentials, precise location information, or other regulated information through a general website form unless we specifically request it and provide an appropriate secure method.

We may receive business contact information, public professional information, behavioral or intent signals, identifiers, and related data from clients, referral sources, event organizers, professional networks, public business sources, data providers, identity-resolution providers, advertising platforms, and other service providers when permitted by law. We may combine this information with information collected through the Site or provided directly to us.
2. How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information to:

- Protect our rights, property, users, clients, and business interests;
- Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and contractual obligations; and
- Create aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify an individual.
We do not use information collected through general website interactions to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about individuals without appropriate notice and safeguards.
3. Email Communications
We may send email communications in response to your request or when you have otherwise agreed to receive them. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe mechanism where required. You may also ask us to stop marketing emails by contacting rtrube@modus6.com.
Unsubscribing from marketing messages does not prevent us from sending non-promotional messages related to an active request, meeting, transaction, engagement, legal notice, or security matter.
4. Text Messages and Mobile Information
If you provide a mobile number and expressly consent to receive text messages, we may send messages related to your inquiry, appointments, requested resources, services, or other communications described at the time of consent.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing services. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. For assistance, reply HELP or contact us using the information at the end of this Policy.
We do not sell mobile information. We do not share mobile telephone numbers, text-message originator opt-in data, or text-message consent with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
We may disclose mobile information to service providers that help us deliver messages, manage consent, provide customer support, prevent fraud, or operate our communications systems on our behalf.
5. Cookies, Tracking Technologies, and Pixel Services
We may use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, local storage, log files, scripts, software development kits, and similar technologies on the Site and in communications to:
- Maintain session functionality, security, and site performance;
- Remember preferences and improve usability;
- Analyze usage, engagement, and navigation patterns;
- Enable personalization and content relevance;
- Support attribution, analytics, campaign measurement, and retargeting; and
- Detect business interest or intent and support audience-building activities where permitted by law.
Cookie categories
These technologies may include strictly necessary cookies, functional or preference cookies, analytics or performance cookies, and advertising, retargeting, or identity-resolution technologies. Some technologies are set by us, while others may be set by service providers or partners.
Cookie consent and preferences
Where required by applicable law, we request consent before activating non-essential technologies or provide a mechanism to opt out of applicable tracking, targeted advertising, sale, or sharing. You may also manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain technologies may affect Site functionality or limit personalization.
Some browsers and extensions transmit a Global Privacy Control or another legally recognized opt-out preference signal. Where required by applicable law and technically applicable to our practices, we treat a recognized signal as a request to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising for the browser or device sending the signal.
Identity-resolution pixel technology
Strategy Simple LLC may use or provide identity-resolution pixel technology, which may include simple|ID, superPIXEL, simple|AUDIENCE, or comparable or successor technologies. When enabled on our Site or deployed on a client's website, this technology may:
- Identify or resolve the identity of website visitors, including consumer and professional audiences, using behavioral signals, online identifiers, network or device information, public or licensed data, and database matching;
- Detect intent, interest, or engagement signals at the individual, household, or organizational level;
- Connect website events or browsing activity to contact-level, household-level, or business-level information;
- Support outreach, personalization, suppression, retargeting, measurement, or audience-building across business-to-business and business-to-consumer campaigns; and
- Operate without relying solely on a visitor's submission of a form, email address, or other direct identifier.
Identity resolution is probabilistic or deterministic depending on the data and technology used, may not identify every visitor, and may produce incomplete or incorrect matches. We and our clients are responsible for using resolved data and signals only as permitted by applicable law, contract, and the relevant privacy notice.
Client-deployed pixel services
When a client deploys our pixel technology on its website, the client is responsible for maintaining accurate privacy disclosures, cookie notices, consent or opt-out mechanisms, and other controls required for its audience, jurisdiction, and use case. Consumer-facing deployments may require stricter consent standards than professional-context or business-to-business deployments. The client's privacy policy should explain the client's purposes and provide the rights and choices applicable to that site.
Depending on the engagement and applicable law, Strategy Simple LLC may act as a service provider or processor to the client, or may have separate obligations as a business or controller. Contractual allocation of responsibility does not eliminate any obligation imposed directly by applicable law.
6. How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients for the purposes described in this Policy:
Service providers and technology partners
We use service providers and technology partners for website hosting, cloud storage, customer relationship management, form processing, scheduling, email, text messaging, analytics, security, information technology, identity resolution, audience activation, data matching, document delivery, and professional support. Our website forms and communications systems may be powered by HighLevel and related providers. The Site is hosted through third-party infrastructure, including Netlify or comparable providers.
Clients and authorized users
When we provide analytics, audience, pixel, identity-resolution, or related services, we may disclose relevant events, identifiers, resolved contact information, match results, intent signals, or audience data to the client or authorized user that requested or deployed the service, subject to contract and applicable law.
Advertising, analytics, and audience partners
Where enabled and permitted, we may disclose identifiers, online activity, audience information, or campaign events to analytics, advertising, social media, identity, or audience partners for measurement, matching, activation, suppression, or retargeting.
Professional advisers
We may disclose information to attorneys, accountants, insurers, consultants, and other professional advisers when reasonably necessary.
Legal and safety purposes
We may disclose information when we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or government request; enforce agreements; investigate suspected misconduct; prevent fraud or security threats; or protect the rights, safety, and property of modus6, Strategy Simple LLC, our clients, users, or others.
Business transactions and your direction
Information may be disclosed in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, due diligence process, or similar business transaction. We may also disclose information when you direct us to do so or provide consent.
7. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
We do not sell personal information for money through the Site. However, certain disclosures involving cookies, pixels, identity resolution, data matching, audience activation, advertising, or retargeting may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under some U.S. state privacy laws, even when no money is exchanged.
Where an applicable law gives you the right to opt out, you may use any cookie-preference or “Your Privacy Choices” mechanism made available on the Site, send a recognized opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control, or contact us at rtrube@modus6.com. We will process applicable requests subject to verification, legal exceptions, and technical limitations.
A browser-based opt-out generally applies to the browser or device from which it is sent. Clearing cookies, using a different browser or device, or using private browsing may require you to renew your preference.
8. Data Processed for Clients
Clients may provide or make available personal information for us to process in connection with consulting, assessment, automation, analytics, audience, or identity-resolution services. When we process that information solely on behalf of a client, the client is responsible for its collection and instructions, and requests concerning that information should generally be directed to the client. We may assist the client in responding as required by contract or law.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including responding to requests, maintaining business records, providing services, supporting analytics and audience operations, complying with legal and accounting obligations, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and maintaining security.
Retention periods vary based on the nature of the information, the relationship, contractual requirements, legal obligations, and operational needs. When information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete, de-identify, aggregate, or securely dispose of it. We may retain limited suppression-list information to honor communication and privacy opt-outs.
10. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No website, transmission method, matching process, or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for using appropriate care when transmitting confidential or sensitive information to us.
11. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Communication preferences
You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in the message. You may opt out of text messages by replying STOP. You may contact us to update your communication preferences.
Cookie and tracking choices
You may use available cookie settings, browser controls, or recognized opt-out preference signals. These controls may not affect strictly necessary technologies or processing required for security, fraud prevention, or requested services.
U.S. state privacy rights
Depending on where you live and whether an applicable law covers our processing, you may have the right to:
- Confirm whether we process your personal information;
- Access personal information we maintain about you;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Request deletion of personal information;
- Obtain a portable copy of certain information;
- Opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling;

These rights are not absolute and may be subject to legal exceptions. To submit a request, email rtrube@modus6.com, call 313.626.9200, or write to the address below. Please describe the right you wish to exercise and provide enough information for us to identify the relevant records.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We may ask an authorized agent to provide proof of authority and may verify your identity directly. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
California notice at collection
Depending on how you interact with us and which technologies are enabled, we may collect the following categories of personal information described under California law:
- Identifiers, such as name, email address, telephone number, Internet Protocol address, cookie identifiers, device identifiers, and similar identifiers;
- Professional or employment-related information, such as company, job title, industry, and business role;
- Internet or electronic network activity, such as pages viewed, clicks, interactions, referring pages, campaign events, and device or browser information;

- Commercial and communication information, such as service interests, requested resources, meeting details, inquiries, and correspondence;
- Household, business, or audience association information generated through matching or identity-resolution processes; and
- Inferences concerning business interests, intent, engagement, or likely service relevance.
We use and disclose these categories for the purposes described in Sections 2, 5, and 6. The categories most likely to be disclosed in a manner that may be considered sale, sharing, or targeted advertising are identifiers, Internet activity, approximate location, commercial information, audience association information, and inferences. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through general website forms and do not use general Site interactions to infer highly sensitive characteristics.
International privacy rights
If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar rights, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing; receive certain information in portable form; withdraw consent; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Where required, we process personal information based on consent, performance of a contract or steps requested before entering a contract, compliance with legal obligations, or our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving our business and responding to business inquiries.

Strategy Simple LLC is located in the United States. If you provide information from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers, clients, or partners operate. The Site may link to third-party websites, platforms, or resources. We are not responsible for their privacy, security, content, or practices. Review the privacy policy of any third-party service before providing information.
